Arthur Season XVIII Begins
On wednesday we had the first writer’s meeting for the upcoming season of Arthur. I guess we’ll get to hold on to our title as the longest running American children’s animated TV show for a while longer. Lots of fun ideas were flying around the table, it’s going to be another great batch of stories!
I am really looking forward to another great season! When the show started in 1996, Arthur and I were in the same grade. I’ve aged by 17 years since then, and Arthur is still in the third grade. Lucky aardvark…. The stories are still relatable though, and watching an episode of Arthur is the only thing that will improve a bad day. Thank you to all who are involved in making this show!! It really did (and occasionally still does) act as a co-parent for me :)))
the writing has really improved ,but i really hope you guys change animation its so distracting.
We are working on it, Martin! I appreciate your keen eye. I think you’ll see an improvement in the next year or so with the new programs we are currently working on.
