Milton Gendel: A Surreal Life curated by Peter Benson Miller and Barbara Drudi
Laurie and I attended the opening lecture for this exhibit and it was a joy to learn about Milton Gendel and his work in Rome during the birth of abstract expressionism. He photographed some amazing people during this time in very unique ways. It’s in the most unlikely place but well worth the effort if you are in the neighborhood.
