I’m very excited to share with you a new collaboration with my buddy, R. L. Stine. LITTLE SHOP OF MONSTERS will be published in the spring of 2015 by Little, Brown & Company. I’m just starting to play with the wonderful words Bob has written for me to illustrate. It will be a joy to go to my studio for the next few months to paint the illustrations for this book. I’m going to be working with a mixture of watercolor, gouache and colored pencils in brilliant colors and patterns similar to the art in WILD ABOUT BOOKS. Below a couple of the many quick sketches that happened as I read Bob’s manuscript for the first time. I begin actual layouts next week.
